SENIOR FELLOWSHIP

If you are looking to hang out with a fun group of seniors, check out this site. We welcome all who call themselves seniors and their family members or caregivers. Below is a description of our activities. Pat Krueger is our coordinator and welcomes you to contact her at seniors@sthelenas.net.

Activities Include:

Art Haus Classes

These classes are free and all supplies are provided for beginners, as well as seasoned artists. We see ourselves as creative makers who love God in the process. We meet in the Parish Hall, first floor of the Historic Sanctuary at St Helena’s each month on a designated Monday. Join us for laughter, art and fellowship!

Luncheons on the Town

We gather regularly for lunch in Boerne or nearby for food and fellowship. Watch your email for Constant Contact which will have the dates and locations of our lunches.

Ladies Ukulele Group

The Boerne Ukuladies that meets on Tuesdays. They are intermediate level players. 1:30-3:00pm Annex Building at St Helena’s.

Friends with Flowers

We meet every Monday afternoon at 1:00pm at Morningside at Menger House Activity Room. We arrange fresh flowers from St. Helena’s and HEB and deliver them to residents of Menger House, various care settings and assisting living/nursing homes.

Prayer Shawls, Knitting & Crocheting Group

The Crochet and Knitting group typically meets once a month in the Parish Hall- Room One.  Fran Wettingfeld and Gail Powell lead this fun group of ladies in this caring ministry. Contact Pat for more information.
