St Helena's Episcopal School was established in 2008 to provide a ministry to God's children that was dedicated to developing a life-long love for Christ.
The School is a Christ-centered pre-school and primary school program for ages 2-5 years as well as Kinder, 1st and 2nd.
The themes are based on the fruit of the Spirit in order to help encourage and grow compassionate children. All activities are within the Texas Education Agency skills per grade level. All children will experience hands-on activities in all learning domains through out the day. All activities are based on early childhood research and brain-based learning research. The director and staff constantly seek new, exciting, hands-on activities to help children learn via concrete objects, print rich environments, and enriching experiences.
In order to help children make the connection between school and "real life", they will be given multiple opportunities for enriching experiences such as
- Field Trips
- Guest Speakers
- Art Projects
- Science Experiments
- Monthly Service Projects
- Weekly trips to the public library
- Community mission & outreach projects
