We warmly welcome The Rev. Brian Fox, who joined St. Helena’s as our Curate, on Wednesday, Sept. 11th..
Brian is originally from New York State. He earned a B.A. in Ancient History from Sarah Lawrence College (2015); a Master of Divinity from Princeton Seminary; and a Diploma in Anglican Studies from the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin. (2019). For the last 18 months he has done his seminary field work at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in San Antonio. Brian was ordained a Deacon in early June.
He is married to Alayna, who works at the San Antonio Museum of Art in

Brian’s duties will include:

worship on Sundays and weekdays
- Leading, coordinating, and expanding the outreach ministries of St. Helena’s
- Expanding small groups through raising up, training, and supporting lay leaders
- Teaching – Sunday School and weekdays
- Assisting the Rector in the pastoral care ministries of the parish
